APE is recognized worldwide as a leader and produces equipment to drive the largest piles in the world.
From customer demand, APE figured out how to deliver on a pile driving solution that nobody else would or could touch. From earlier success in synchronizing our largest vibratory hammer/extractors, we scaled a successful solution to include twelve (12) of our largest “Super Kong” vibro hammers, each backed by 1200 HP power units. The goal was to drive a 98-foot diameter pile in the ocean, and we did it. Larger than anything our machines had driven in the past; APE set a world record for the largest pile driven in the world.
