Merco, Inc. goes APE in Boonton, NJ

Mike Mergentime of Merco, Inc. called APE for all of his pile driving equipment needs on the Rt. 202/Washington Ave. Bridge job in Boonton, NJ. An APE 200 Vibro, a D25-32 Diesel Hammer, “King Kong”, and a J&M Model 70 Hydraulic Impact Hammer were all used on this very difficult job.

Alessi Equipment Mounts Low Headroom 7.5 on Komatsu Excavator

Alessi Equipment in APE’s dealer for all excavator-mounted equipment. Judlau Construction needed an impact hammer for a low headroom application in Brooklyn, NY. Alessi Equipment mounted an APE 7.5 (only 7.5 feet tall) hammer on a Komatsu PC300LC excavator. Judlau completed the job ahead of schedule!

MJ Lee Construction vibro in leads

MJ Lee uses an APE 150T vibro set up in a set of APE hammer leads and utilizes the speed of this set up by driving the first 60′ x 14″ h-piles with the vibro then splicing the second 60′ h-pile and driving it to grade with an Ape D30/32 diesel hammer. They are building a railroad bridge over the Canadian river in Canadian Texas.
